You can't beat the Asians.
I held no illusion when I decided to change from writer to indie ghostwriter. I realized that I would need to create a new reputation and fast, this I have done; the trouble was I never realized that my reputation means so little to people.
I often get "considered" for jobs, only to be undercut by Asians. I can accept being beaten by people with a better portfolio than me - not many have a bigger collection - or by better-qualified people; what I can't accept is why people choose inferior writers because they are cheap. Apparently, skill does not count for anything anymore.
