While these things do worry me, at the same time they have brought a new sense of appreciation to my world.
No longer do I care about the sales of my e-books or getting my goal of selling ten in a month.
Smaller things, which we take for granted have taken on new importance, such as hearing rain fall or the effect of the wind on the leaves. When you realise your life may be soon measured in months, not years, these things take on a huge importance and being a clarity of mind I had not thought possible.
For many months, I was driven by the urge to sell my stories, to the extent I sold my soul and wrote for the market not for me. My friends tell me that my best work is the free flowing style I had when I started three years ago, when sales were not on my mind and that is how I intend to write again.
