I planned to go ahead with A Sailor's Love edits, and to work on my noire thriller for the CrimeLit magazine. That was before I came to the realisation nobody gives a damn. You write an award winning e-book and then sell your soul for a sale in eighteen months. What does that show me?
Last night I came up with another idea for a thriller, a story of a preacher on a mission to save the poor souls in her parish. I could have done a good story, but threw the idea out.
I wanted to re-write the Pat Canella - The Dockland Murders series. When I ended the last of the stories, I had written over 120 pages and 15 short stories. The series came out two years ago and to this day hasn't sold on Amazon. I was going to update the theme from the 1940s to the 60s, but kicked the theory into touch.
