Pat Bertam asked me what was the book I was working on and who would I cast if the book was turned into a film.
The easy part was what book was I working on, the same one I am now re-writing "Ghostst of your past," which is the third in the Pat Canella series.
I have no idea; why I am re-writing the stories again, for months during the initial writing I was plagued with bad dreams as images of the story played through my mind at night. I did leave plenty of room for development in the plot, including an unintentional possible crossover with Chronicles of Mark Johnson
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008BEDMSO but as nobody bought the original stories, why am I continuing the stories, the only reason I can come up with is because I love the writing again after struggling over sales for months I decided not to care if you buy the books.
The hard part was casting for the main leads; I rarely write with an actor/actress in mind but I do write for a type of character, for Patti I was looking for the role of a young lady who wouldn't sit down and take BS. Two role models came to mind for the part - Jordan Cavanaugh (Crossing Jordan) or Lily Rush (Cold Cases), from here on Jill Hennessey who played Jordan became Patti in my mind's eye.
To cast the other main leads of Dennis and Bill Chart needed some serious thought and I settled on Miguel Ferrer for Dennis and Stacy Keach for Bill Chart; later on in the stories other minor parts become more involved.
