One of the things I do miss greatly, is not being able to tend to my Fuchsia plants.
Over the years I grew to like watching their heads pop up and give colour to the garden after the winter drabness, here are a small selection of what I grew.
At one time, I considered cross pollination to try to strengthen some plants and get new colours; my favourite "Quasar" is not shown here, Quasar is a double white with a slight tint of pink to the sepals.
My wife and I have two very different styles, she like nice neat rows and I prefer as Mother Nature prefers, if the plant wants to grow; it will grow where it wants to :)
One plant in particular always raises a giggle, she had been trying to grow "Genii" for many years, using various compounds and conditions; I took a cutting and a little HRC-Hormone Rooting Compound-peeled the the stem back and planted the twiglet in the ground, with a little TLC and Mother Nature's help-nothing special-in less than a month I had grown a healthy bush
A place to read generalisms of my thoughts, some book related and others general chatter.
