Her being on this post is only a ploy to get your attention.
I don't go in for cheap tricks like this usually, but as my stories don't sell - who cares? Not me.
Last night's post that I was giving up the blog in June brought the largest amount of readers this month. As I said, i don't go for cheap tricks and this wasn't one. For years, I've tried convincing myself that my blogs had value, and for years I have failed. I can't prove the blogs help sales. All I can say is that because they are FREE they get read.
The statistics speak for themselves, I have 40 e-books on sale - counting Amazon & Draft2Digital as two separate platforms - if we were to include each sales area as a separate set of figures, the figure would be over 3,000 possible sales as D2D is a conglomerate of sites.
Out of the 40 e-books, only Forgestriker has sold well. The rest have either sold now and then, or in the case of the majority not sold.
A lot of people - many I don't have contact with - have said I am a good (if not great) storyteller. As much as I want to believe this, my only proof is sales of books and they are almost non-existent.
The series figures on the surface appear marvelous with over 600 sales for the seven-book series. When you take an inside look they don't look as good - half the sales are for the title book - meaning the other half of the sales are spread over six books, and with books 1 & 2 in the series taking half of the remainder, the latter four books didn't sell well.
