"A Sailor's Love" comes off the shelf. This week I'm taking "A Sailor's Love" off the shelf for refurbishment, and extending. For quite a while, friends have said I should try my hand at a novel. When I closed the story last June, I was not far off the length required (40K+). I closed the story because after fourteen months, I questioned the involvement of time expended Vs possible income. At that time I thought it unwise to continue. Especially in the aftermath of the failure of both Chronicles books. I foresaw a third, and final collapse of my value as a writer. When I finished,it was not the ending I planned, I had fallen in love (again) with my characters, and wanted to expand the story. The story ending was left open in case of buyer interest, as there is none; I will probably close the story, and move to another scene.
A place to read generalisms of my thoughts, some book related and others general chatter.
