How many? How many of the people I am connected to (where is irrelevant) know who I am, or what I am about?
How many? How many of these people give a damn about what I do?
How many? If you can say 10% then you're lucky. If you raise the bar to above 20%, you're probably lying to yourself. I have come to the conclusion, all on line connection groups are done to play a childish numbers game, and mean as little a trying to count snowflakes.
To my connections. If you are connected to me on LinkedIn, Twitter,Facebook, or Google, ask yourself the questions why, or is it just to boost my figures in a childish game? What do I know about Alan, his work, and thoughts? Do I really care? I would rather have 10 people follow me because they are interested in my work, than thousands who want to play a childish numbers game.
If you claim to know me, this should be easy to answer. Which of my stories would I like to have seen in print, and why?
