Although I have books on Amazon www.amazon.com/-/e/B007U50BOI and Smashwords www.smashwords.com/books/view/719595. I am not under the illusion either site will bring my sales figures up, they didn't before, why should they now?
Pay for my cover
It is simply for this book to make enough to pay for the cover I got for it. Over 100 pages for only $2 on Draft2Digital what a bargain!
A temporary stay of execution
I am going through my stock of e-books, any that aren't selling after more than two years will be deleted from the shelves.
With that thought in mind, A Sailor's Love www.draft2digital.com/book/34522 / www.amazon.com/dp/B07226FRDK would have been the book to have gone next month had it not had a sale on Amazon. This is only a temporary respite as one sale oin three years is not good.
Easter has passed again, and like many holidays, to me, it was like any other of the days of the year - work, work, work.
Life as a Self-Published writer www.barnesandnoble.com/s/%22Alan%20Place%22?Ntk=P_key_Contributor_List&Ns=P_Sales_Rank&Ntx=mode+matchall means there is little or no rest from work.
The only difference this year is that I bought a cover for my latestromance from SelfPubBookCovers.com/Daniela. This means my e-books will be a little more expensive but still a bargain.
I feel I have no value
I've been told by many cover designers, they wish they had my talent for writing.
Take it from me, it is a hard life as a writer, they make as much with one cover as I make in a year selling e-books.
I've been accused of being a writer who starts a story but never finishes it. That is one way of looking at the situation, from my viewpoint it's more a case of why write if nobody is going to read the story?
I often wake - as I did yesterday - with the intention of writing a story but then think why bother? Who's going to read it?
