To those who do know, and followed my blogs during this time, the truth is far from what is to be imagined. Last year, I was racked with massive doubts about my value as a writer, the series may be a hit but only one book sold well. The majority of my Barnes & Noble sales are for one book (Forgestriker), the other 40+ have hardly scratched the surface of being sold.
Along with this was the question of was it worth it?
I'd spent over 15 months writing A Sailor's Love, for what? Not a sale, 15 months work for nothing. Again the growing doubts gnawed at me.
I worried that if this book failed would I be able to make another comeback after the failure of both books in the Chronicle of Mark Johnson series (no longer on sale).
