I have just finished reading The Chronicles of Mark Johnson from cover to cover (you are an excellent storyteller and I didn't want to put it down once I had started) from Julia Petrakis, Seattle.
From Crystall Schall- Al Place writes many different genres, Chronicles of Mark Johnson is definitely one of his short story compilations to date. This is definitely a do not miss read.
From Yezall Strongheart, author of Restore- Bring 'em' back alive.
With this author's talent at telling a story, I can only hope for a novel at some point. If anything that would be my complaint, I wanted more.
From Fran Lewis in New York
This is a well-written story filled with just the right amount of suspense, drama and intrigue to keep the reader's interest and ready for the next story. Let's find out what Mark is up to next as I begin story two: The Portern Case by author Alan Place.
Just as this ends and what is next for Mark and his team you won't know until the author continues the amazing Chronicles of Mark Johnson. Only author PA Canella knows what's next and of course THE SPIRITS!
He was once a celebrity photographer, but he turned his back on the high paid & glamorous lifestyle. Mark became a recluse in order to return to his passion of photography. In time, his journalistic training took over and lead him to enquire about a mystery. He had a sense of wrong, as nobody would tell him anything about the deaths at the Morton House.
Resorting to his forte' he delved into the mystery and uncovered a sad case of mistaken guilt. This case was to bring his photography back in the spotlight and lead him on other searches for demons.
But, at the same time he was fighting demons, he was fighting his own demons and no more so than the events told in North Moor.
Three of the award winning stories will soon be published in the anthology "Dreamless Roads" by DreamWorks Publishing house.
