Why cut and run?
I am a writer and a good one according to many of my friends, but these declining numbers tell their own story. When I started putting the stories on line I could guarantee over 100 reads within minutes, over the last week or two all the stories have struggled to get to 100 and some never make it that far.
According to some friends I have a great US fan base who would be upset at losing Chronicles or Pat Canella. I return to the previous paragraph, if that is so, why do the figures keep falling and don't even remain constant. There has been next to no sales over the last year for Chronicles and Pat Canella has not sold since March '12' on Amazon.
I had planned a release of Book 2 of the Chronicles series to coincide with the anniversary of my BIG week in 2012, this would have put he time during the week of the 17th to 14th of June. With the falling figures and no sales I have decided to bring it forward to the day after my editor sends me the final edited edition, the reason for the change in plans is that by doing this I don't have to renew the web cost for another 6 months and watch my readers go down further.
If anybody wishes to read my work - I doubt you do, you proved that to me already - I will still be contactable via Facebook and email. I will continue to write even if only for a few close friends, my muse won't rest and I have an active mind and can't sit watching TV for hours.
A quote from a book that never sold (Chronicles of Mark Johnson)
Phil Moore (Mark's best friend) talking about Mark and a hunt and how he thought it may end. "He died doing what he liked."
