A personal favourite. One of my favourite stories I am writing is Hunted Down.Originally, I planned this to run with the Pat Canella storiesThe Dockland Murders andGhosts of your past, as there is a link to all three stories -- Bill Chart -- ex-cop with a dirty rep, and a hidden secret. But, then again, as neither of the mentioned stories sold, I changed my mind.
The story has become Bill Chart's attempt to clear his name, help a lady in distress, and take on the mob.
Mordhiemicus. This is a Medieval collection with an interesting back story going back to my original idea of writing for http://www.blacklibrary.com/ . Three years ago, I was foolish, and considered having e-books on the shelves beside writers like Dan Abnett,Graham McNeil, James Swallow, and Sarah Caulkwell. Warhammer is a popular table top game in Europe, and many of the armies involved in the war games, have founded books about their history. While it is great to go on the rampage with a massive army, I always preferred a little known -- now discontinued game -- called Mordhiem. Mordhiem starts with a town being hit by a fireball, and continues as the people fight for their lives amid the ruins of their once prosperous lives. I preferred this game, as it involves sneaking around in dark corners, and using hand to hand combat, rather than marching in to an area and unleashing a mass of soldiers.
This collection started out as two or three short stories I wrote for friends. The problem arose when I decided to make a tome from the segmented work. When I joined the few part I had written, I found I had a work almost as big as Chronicles of Mark Johnson, and still had the same again to do, to make the parts a whole story.
Private viewing. There are some stories I am continuing, but these are for friends only. The stories of Mark Johnson, and Patti Canella will not see light of day, both series had a chance to sell, and both failed to grab your attention.
In the bin. I have discarded many ideas, and thrown away the files containing various stories.
