I never wanted to be in the EEC (now EU). From the outset in the 1970's I could see there was going to be serious issues over money and who runs the show. Countries with national pride are loathe to hand control to a group of mindless bureaucrats.
Norway and Switzerland do well, and they are not in the EU. You only need to look at what is happened in Sweden and has spread to Finland.
Gangs of Muslims roaming the streets, raping women and young girls and the police being told not to prosecute them because it's RACIST. BULLSHIT -rape is the horrible crime and its effects are lasting, these men should be not only prosecuted but expelled and banned from the country.
Scandinavian police admit the crime wave is out of control and they can't cope, the Finns have given up hope for their country, even though they expel thousands of Muslims each week the damage is done.
The EU is no more than a free bank for the Germans, their economy is in serious danger of imploding that is why they keep making threats to the UK voters. Angela Merkel WILL go into history as the worst chancellor in German history, but the fault is not entirely hers. True, she shouldn't have opened the door to the scumbags. With the world in recession, the German economy came under too much pressure.
A recent poll noted that more than 70% of Germans don't want the UK to leave the EU, nobody was asked if they wanted the UK IN the EU. The result is the same - but the reason is vastly different. To give a sports analogy; in a World Cup match, the score was England 1 - Paraguay 0. The headline was England beat Paraguay. If you read the report, England didn't score; the goal was an own goal. Same result - different version.
The arrogance of the Germans makes them forget, they are the enemy of most of the EU states, none more than the Netherlands. The more they threaten the UK, the more damage they are doing to their economy.
The EU is falling apart because countries refuse to be governed by people who don't live in them; the breakdown has nothing to do with Brexit, it was happening years ago.
