However, I am very pleased to see that although I was unable to blog, the blog averaged over 500 page reads for the time, and over 400 readers. I don't know what it is I do right, but something brings you back, and I can't say how grateful am I.
Health concerns. In the last week, or two, some of my close friends have become worried that as I don't get out a lot, I am suffering from depression. To a degree this is true, and I do thank them for being concerned. As you see from these photos taken by my daughter, Felicity, in Clevedon this week. I do get out, but with having to wear the boot, my energy gets drained quickly.
Pondering. If you wonder what I am thinking about in the second picture? I can tell you, it was two things :- How beautiful the sea looked as the sunbeams shone through the darkening, and hit the water; and after chatting to my mother, and learning several of my school friends had did in last three years; I was thinking how grateful I am to have a family, and have made peace with my mother at the end of her life.
Health. As you see, I need to wear the boot to walk, for how long? I cannot say, because the answer is not mine to give; all I can say is I'll need to wear until the Lord calls, and in our family we live well into our 80s.
I may have poor health, but at least I am not totally immobile, yet.
