May has ended with 5 sales for my books, again no 10 sale month and again Holding Richmond was the best selling book http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007CJKK84
As we go into June, various sections of my plans move closer to coming together. First is the
http://www.thefictiondesk.com/submissions/ghost-story-competition.php which has now gone to the judging phase, with the possibility of a $150 prize and publication in the anthology. The result won't be known until the beginning of July.
June heralds in what may be the biggest month for Chronicles of Mark Johnson since last October http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008BEDMSO when it won an award http://indiependents.org/indie-seal-books.html , this month is the month when I hope to hear from a publisher, to see if they are interested in the series. I realise they are busy people but four weeks
and not even a thank you for sending the work to us doesn't raise my hopes.
Book 2 will hopefully be coming out in the middle of the month too, my editor and I think this is better than book 1 http://alsdomain.weebly.com/18/post/2013/05/the-big-movie.html#.UanY3NLVAW4 it would be nice for book 2 to emulate the success of book 1 and win the award again, better still would be for some sales of the book as my way to thank Julia for her help over the last 7 months preparing the book and to thank my good friend and cover designer, Angela Priest, for her great covers which have been praised by cover designers; even though Angie only had a basic set-up.
As always, there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes and my books will be available for sale from me for two weeks before I send them out to Amazon http://alsdomain.weebly.com/my-books.html#.UanZ3tLVAW4
