Last night, out-of- the- blue, I received an invite to apply for a job on @Upwork.
What made the offer so unusual is that it came from the site.
On the information given, I was informed that as I have an impressive profile, and I am considered a top rated writer and in the top 10% of writers on the site.
While this fact may be true, the bottom line is that I am struggling to get work. I had another application turned down today :(
This concept is supposed to allow good writers access to more, and better clients; we'll see if anything happens.
If you read this blog, you know how I feel about these "proposals." Put simply - talk is cheap - I have four ongoing at the moment, including another that was proposed to me. I doubt anything will come from them as the man who asked me hasn't made contact since he asked - so, I have no idea what he wants.
